I spent the last five nights camping out in the canyonlands of Arizona, Utah and Colorado. Slept out in the open four of the nights. It was just the dogs and me for most of the trip while the fam hung out with friends and wrecked their lungs in northern CO. Did a lot of exploring and finally got to test out the Mickey Thompsons.

I also got to demonstrate for some fellow campers the importance of good tires and low range when traveling in canyon country as I taught them how to dig out their “AWD” CUV from deep, fine sands. Working on writing something up for O&E, but I have a lot of schoolwork to catch up on. The truck only let me down once when the hood struts failed while airing the tires up. My shovel served as an adequate stand in. It’s going to be really hard going back to work on Monday. If we go remote again I’m living out here.
