It has been a busy three day weekend so far and we have had a great time. We pick up a ladder rack from facebook market place on saturday, visited 2 of the local farm stores in laveen, visited the local dairy for some fresh milk and worked somemore on a backyard project.
Sunday we took a day trip up to Prescott to Watson Lake, where we made the ill informed decision to hike around the lake, we mad it all the way around, we just weren’t very well prepared for it, even the kiddo’s made it all the way with minimum fits had. We had a late lunch/early dinner downtown the went out to the copper basin overlook. I thought this was the best part because rough dirt road in a forest in the ram = happy dirty dodge. For the drive home we took highway 89 rather than go back down the I17 because of accident backups. I had never come back to phoenix on 89 and it was great! Very windy road coming out of the montains, basically no traffic. Made for a very nice drive home.
Woke up early on Monday to take our canoe out to lake pleasant. That ladder rack worked great. Even though the lake was busier than i cared for we had a great time. Now to relax for a bit before a family BBQ!
