First, a refresher. I’m currently on a ten day trip from Texas to Lake Superior Performance Rally in Michigan to home in Massachusetts, with a lot of scenic stops along the way. For a summary click here (Kinja pls no eat link).

I arrived in Houston around noon. After getting myself situated I headed over to the National Museum of Funeral History, because how could I not? (Family business after all.) The museum is MASSIVE. It took over four hours to see all the rooms, and if I actually took the time to read everything I’m sure I would need at least a full day. It’s a fascinating place as well, if you’re ever in Houston this should be a “must see” stop for you.

Stef came down from Austin and caught up with me at the museum, then we headed to Moxie’s where we’d been invited last minute to have dinner with drivers David Higgins and Patrik Sandell and co-driver Craig Drew of Subaru Rally Team. They happened to be in town for Subaru’s Big Event X the following day (today), so we decided to get together and catch up.
