Tonight I ordered the rest of what I needed to get it on the road and tallied everything up. Bike itself was free, and I’ve spent $430 to get it complete and running. Cheaper than any running bike or scooter for sale in the local classifieds, and now I own a classic piece of motorcycling history. The only expenses left are random finishing touches like paint and a cargo rack.
Now I just need a helmet and motorcycle endorsement.
