This whole debacle is so ridiculous. I’m not doubting the embezzlement charges (what person in power doesn’t do shit like that?) but the timing of this and how it prevented him from merging Renault and Nissan is highly suspect. Not to mention how stacked against foreigners the Japanese legal system can be.
