Pulled the old ECU out of the Cheep and found white crusty stuff bubbling out of the corner of it.
Not only that, but the otherwise flush back panel is pushed out on one corner. I’m gonna hazard a guess and say that some capacitor or something exploded.

Unfortunately one of the torx bolts holding it onto the bracket stripped the moment I touched it so I can’t investigate further. I just ordered a whole new bracket, since this one is so cronchy anyways.
