Out of your hourly tow truck driving gig, when you’re called out on a beautiful day for a very straightforward disabled vehicle in a parking space, in a flat lot with lots of space all around.

Step 1. Pull in at an angle instead of directly across from the car

Step 2. Don’t pull forward enough so that the car can make the turn

Step 3. Take extra care because the owner and (friend, partner, husband?) are standing right there

Maybe I’m giving him too much credit. But raise your hand if you’ve ever had a job where you milked a particular task because you knew it was more pleasant than whatever you had coming next.
