I was just walking downtown and heard a loud plane. There’s a nearby airport, but it’s a grass strip. However, we occasionally see military aircraft flying nearby, they go up through Franconia Notch and if you’re up in the mountains, they’re likely to pass by below you, which is always cool to see. There used to be a few A-10's that would do very low passes from time to time, incredibly loud, and sometimes terrifyingly low. Today, though, I spotted this guy, and amazingly, was quick enough to get a picture:
