When you know the exact date of a Google Earth image...

...because your friend’s *slightly* broken boat is parked at your dock, having not made it all the way home the night before.

I texted him this picture and the reply was “it wasn’t broken, just resting.” Which is technically true. It would overheat after a few minutes, so they let it cool, then drove it to my house and hitched a ride rather than trying to go through the ~10 minute idle through a river to get to where they usually dock it.

We were at a wedding and I had forgotten his boat was there (parked where I usually put my boat) when I came home late and obviously in the dark. Luckily I saw it in time, haha.
