I’ve been on the job hunt for a few months now. Trying to move from self employed IT consultant/tech to a professional, structured setting. Today, I accepted a position as a well known Chicago institution and I am pretty pumped about it. My team, and I, are responsible for making sure all systems, hardwares, and softwares used by anyone/everyone all play nice together. That is our primary job function. We also provide tech support on the HelpDesk when they need it and a few other things.
The most exciting thing about this is turning off the job board alerts. Start date TBD. Hope you all have a wonderful Thursday.
