Gordon can be over the top but he plays it up for his US programs whereas he’s more calm (this is relative, I feel this needs to be emphasized) in his UK programs. US is more of a shouty, angry fellow whereas UK is a more refined anger (that doesn’t make sense but I’m sticking with it), plus the use of excellent UK profanities like wanker and twat which don’t work well with American or Canadian accents.
Anyway, I generally enjoy Hot Ones and this is my new favourite episode.
