The ZJ is lifted 2". Overall dimensions look pretty similar, but the ZJ has significantly better approach, departure, and break over angles. Has the compass always been this big?
Also I stopped for gas on the way home from work, and started tracking my mileage on Fuelly once again.

The 25-year-newer Compass likely walks all over that, but I’ve got more hp from my 4.0, have 2.5 times the tow capacity, and have the good-old-fashioned kind of 4x4, so I’m pretty happy with that for a 50/50 town/highway tank.
No I didn’t buy a Compass. I don’t know why it’s parked on my street.
