Its my daughters birthday this weekend, she’s turning 7. She has been very quiet about what she wants for her birthday and she is not remotely demanding so i’ve bene having a hard time coming up with an idea. I noticed that she likes to make little “flee circus” type deals in the yard for bugs and such. I figured this was as good a place to start as any and I decided to gift her a corner of the yard thats just for her to build up a little fairy city. I bought her a house and a few other things but I spent some time last night helping her collection along with some homemade stuff.
This is what I came up with. A section of fence/ladder, a table, 2 chairs, a sign and a toadstool. Its been a while since I practiced my Boy scouts pioneer craft but it was fun. I told my wife I should try and built real ones for our yard but I got that look that said “like this? no!”. So maybe not. Anyway. Liberal use of hot snot and cheating a little with popsicle sticks but...meh.
