I don’t know kind of lift is on here but its more than a little. I’m still not sure where I sit with this trend.
On the one side of the coin, it’s possible that this lift and tire was just enough to get them the places they wanted to go without getting stuck. after-all, most trails are designed for people to actually use them so a little more clearance, and little more traction and AWD should be enough to get to most places.
On the other side of the coin, the vehicle needs to be as capable as the hardest part of the trail to get through, not the average. Something like this seems like a great way to get into a fight you can’t win.
The main thing is that you take a car which is a good road car with a touch of off-road capability and turn it into a far less pleasant road car with a touch of off-road capability plus a little more.
