just rolled into the garage.
So this happened up at the lake apparently. Someone was driving through town with their boat when one of the 4 wheels (hub and brakes inclusive) came off the trailer and into this garage punching a hold in it and damaging the boat inside.
Oh, it was our boat that lost the wheel. My brother was driving. When I last used it I told my family something was wrong with the wheel and it would need to be serviced before using it again. I wasn’t going to be back up and I noticed it putting the boat away. I thought it was just wheel bearings. Guess not. I wasn’t there. Looks like the entire drop hub assembly tore off.
Glad it didn’t happen in the busy part of town. My family kinda sucks at maintaining things... It’s hard to share things with them. We have bi weekly meetings about the place to discuss items and all summer there was never anything wrong. I go up and the garage door we store the boat is is bent to hell and it comes off the track when I go to use it the boat is way more scuffed, several small things broken. Sigh.
