Call me a Boomer in disguise, 16 going on 60, someone who wouldn't know good design even if Fisker ran me over, whatever, but a childhood favorite car of mine retains its spot as an all time great with it's newest iteration. Alternate shorter title: I really do love the C8 Corvette.

I truly thought I’d despise it based off what I’ve seen with the spy and leaked shots and whatnot, but after watching the reveal from beginning to the time I started writing this (they talked a lot about the moon) I can safely declare that despite the stereotypes and seemingly unanimous opinion of “it’s overstyled and ugly”, I think the C8 looks fucking badass and I love it. I’ve always loved Corvettes, who hasn’t? I’m glad to say that won’t change for the next 5 years or so. Here’s to the new Vette.
