Update: Got it braced up a bit and wife and kids did the planting. Now we are mere months away from self sustainment! (Assuming we want to eat cucumbers, bell peppers, and tomatoes with basil and rosemary.)
My wife finally got me to make a raised bed for a garden. Pretty simple construction, cedar framing with wire mesh on the inside. Landscape fabric and soil tomorrow (with some rocks at the bottom for drainage).
