Well, following on my post earlier this week I pulled the trigger on the red 2015 Suburban 4WD. I’m happy to have it, but my enthusiasm was tempered somewhat when I got home and noticed some serious scratches on the hood. I have no idea how both my dad and I missed them completely. No pictures of those yet because I’m too annoyed with myself.
On the bright side, I got what I was looking for - a 4WD Suburban in what I think is the best color combo - red with cocoa over dune (tan) interior.
Other than the scratches on the hood (argh! how did I miss those!) there are some minor exterior signs of age, basically the same ones my white one had - B and C pillar trim that is faded and coming off. I put some 3M double sided trim tape on them for now, and I’ll look for some inexpensive replacements. Also need to install the same leveling kit for the front end. I'll get more pictures after the leveling kit and some elbow grease on the hood.
