The ITA household has entered a brave new world wherein periodic charging the doggos’ collars is now a thing. On the plus side, I can now actually see the dogs in the backyard when we go out before bedtime.

Shelby and Ellie always get new collars for Christmas. This year they got fancy ones with a strip of Pink (for the Head of Household Security) and purple (for Shelby) LEDs embedded. They supposedly have a 10 hour run time and charge off a micro USB port. So far they work great, and the doggies haven’t seemed to noticed they glow at night in the backyard when we turn on their lights. The part they won’t like is their collars being taken off to charge for a couple of hours once or twice a month.
