And the fucking mice have already built a nest under the engine NVH cover in amongst the coils, nestled in between the cam cover humps. *AND* there were shredded bits of cardboard stuffed into the turbo heat shield.
I set 6 mouse traps in the garage, blew out all the crud with compressed air and left the engine cover off to make it a bit less attractive.

Anyone have effective methods of mouse dissuasion for the engine compartment?
At least no wires were chewed. Yet.
They did chew up the sound insulation on the cover right around the high-pressure DI pump. Little rodent fucks.
