And poop.
Theoretically sheep can be house trained, but the time it takes to do that is about the time it takes for them to grow big enough to go back out to the barn. And the effort is more intensive than simply ceaning up after them. I have gotten lambs to fairly reliably pee on the pads, but for some reason poop is less easily managed.
