House Lambs Confirmed.

We induced 1417, an older Border ewe who we have been watching, as she has a broken prepubertal tendon and a moderate hernia, gave us four lambs. Three ewes and a ram. We are letting her have one of the ewes, and are supplementing with bottle, as momma is metabolically compromised from the injuries... We gave away the ram to someone who loves raising bottle lambs, and we have two ewe lambs in the house.

the one in the box is an escape risk, the one on the floor is the special risk...

#kinjaborked-it won’t give me the dialog to upload from computer. [insert lamb picture here](temporary)

One is fine, but we also have the runt, who shows obvious signs of being premature. She has gotten up by herself once, and can stand, but has taken no steps and won’t suckle. We have been feeding her with a tube and hope she turns around in the next ~24 hours. A (two) regular house/bottle lamb(s) is bad enough, we can’t support a special-needs case with all the other work we have to do :/
