The LEAF is Gone

Replaced with this:

It’s a 2014 Cooper S hardtop. The LEAF decided to stop charging using the J1772 port and probably needed a new on-board charger ($2600). The dealer made me a good offer even with the disclosed issue.

The LEAF was always going to be my daughter’s first car as I have the GTI and needless to say she is much happier with this choice.

So for the first time in over six years we will not have something with a plug in our stable. The first gen LEAF was great for it’s time and I will miss it. I expect I will have another EV sooner rather than later as there are many compelling new products on the horizon.
