Delivered a load of dry wall to a property. The main house is 17k sq-ft, guest house is 5k sq-ft, boat house is 3k sq-ft. The boat house has space for 3 boats. The deck is 10k sq-ft, & heated. Sitting on 10 acres. It was previously owned by a Russian Mobster, that made it have some interesting rooms. Bath tubs? Custom cut flag stone. Why have steel flashing & soffit around the roof when you can have polished copper for that. It was a full gut job, many millions of millions of millions are being spent on it.
There was one room that raised lots of questions. Since the Russian mob owned it prior there where special rooms found. One room had 2ft thick concrete walls, with lead in the middle of the walls. Then more less a bank vault door behind a normal door. Then chains bolted to the wall. Later found who owns the property, & got why. I won’t say who owns it for their own privacy.
Filthy rich people are weird as hell. No photos (normally would for nice houses). Getting caught taking any photos is the most quick way to get kicked off that job site & never allowed back on it. It’s a no budget reno, & they are going full out on it.
