Any of you P71/Crown Vic guys know anything about the spotlights on them?
My car had a very crusty/nasty bulb in it. I went to clean it and it just fell apart inside the spotlight housing. So I have removed my spotlight housing/bulb while trying to find an affordable replacement.
Amazon Link <— is what I found. I believe this is a suitable replacement, and allows me to be able to easily replace a bulb instead of the whole sealed unit like previously installed.
Anyone think it’ll work? From what I can find CVPI’s have a 6 inch spotlight. I haven’t measured mine to confirm it or not, but I will to just make sure.
If it won’t work, I’ll take a suggestion on a replacement that doesn’t involve emptying my wallet. Even if I have to go to a sealed beam housing.
