Hotels, bars and restaurants in Spain could remain closed until Christmas

This is terrible news, really. Not only the economical impact is going to be immense(tens of millions of tourists lost), but the social impact will be too. Spain is a hugely social country, everything revolves around meeting people, going out and interacting.

And I’m not sure what I’m gonna do. My company could probably survive, but if things go even worse, they will probably turn many of the work from home arrangements into temporary layoffs. I’m not a fan of the idea of coming back to the States, in one of the hardest hit cities.

Nevertheless, this only shows you how bad things really are. No matter how much we want for things to get better, it will still take some time.
