Ridiculous idea

I can’t quite let go of it, though.

I’ve been hunting a manual XJ for quite some time, because I want another 4wd vehicle to back up my Wrangler for the many times it’s in the shop, and it’d be nice to have a dry vehicle during the summer when it gets particularly wet and/or cool.

Autotrader alerted me to this Solar Yellow TJ at a dealership on the west side of Indy. I figure I could buy that, put the long-neglected hard top back on my current Jeep, and then I’d have twins: one for warm days, one for cooler days, happiness all the time (except when one, or both, are in the shop).

And terrible gas mileage, all the time.
