More photos from my travels today, to Patoka Lake near French Lick, Indiana.

This part of southern Indiana is very, very rocky. It’s impressive when a giant tree falls over and its root system pulls with it a collection of rocks.

This is a mock bald eagle nest that kids can climb into for photo ops.

And my first traffic jam in months, trying to get into the state park. Popular day for boating.

Any day that includes lots of sunlight, warm weather, and curvy roads is a good day. Today was a very good one.
