The good news is that the FAA:
has preliminarily determined that Boeing’s proposed changes to the 737 MAX design, flightcrew procedures and maintenance procedures effectively mitigate the airplane-related safety issues
Can’t help but think that the pandemic was good timing for the MAX, anyway. Keeps it out of the spotlight and gives Boeing time to work things out.
