Nature: pretty cool

This is in a neighbor’s yard. I don’t recall ever seeing this type of mushroom before. Looks like a very fancy sliced potato appetizer at some restaurant and I can’t remember where and it’s driving me crazy.

Among the other cool aspects: it’s scattered far and wide across the yard.

Bonus: a day lily seed, which I don’t believe I’ve ever seen before. What’s really cool about it is the color; at a glance it looks black, but it’s actually a dark metallic blue. Not something I expect to see in nature.

And for putting up with my nature crap: a brown wagon (not manual, sadly, but a classic Jeep Cherokee which makes up for that lack).
