I joke, but seriously, why did Jeep manufacture LHD postal delivery vehicles?

There are all sorts of very rare Jeeps that occasionally crop up; for example, Willys reportedly made just five extended cab pickups for the Washington Forestry Service.

I guess that should be another Jeep post: quirkiest, rarest Jeeps...although frankly I doubt I’m aware of most of them, and by virtue of their rarity they’d be hard to research. Donald Rumsfeld’s unknown known unknowns.
