1973 Porsche "Long Life Study" car

This was a Porsche study to make a car designed to “maximize resource savings for at least 300,000km over a 20 year lifespan”

It has a rear-mounted 2.5L I4 good for around 75HP.

This car is what led to Porsche switching to galvanized steel for their cars in 1975.

It seems like a small thing, but it’s a development that put an end to Porsches being rust buckets.
