An Extremely Awesome Project - Single Turbo BMW 335i

Nathan is the wrench behind the Powershift and he’s also taken on one of the coolest projects we’ve ever had. Our buddy Bruce has a very clean E90 335i that is quite extensively modified. Upgraded twin turbos, big fat intercooler, the whole nine yards.

Seeking more power meant he had to go more extreme. So he went ahead and ordered an MFactory limited slip differential and a large single turbo kit. Nathan was commissioned to do the build and here’s where we are on it.

The turbo and manifold are assembled and mounted on the engine. Here’s an excerpt on the experiences Nathan has had. I asked him to text me a basic synopsis of the troubles he’s faced. Here goes.
