This front subframe was one of them. She was a bit crusty. Hit it with the needle scaler and then 36 grit sanding wheels. Slowly but surely I had fresh metal.
That was after the needle scaler hit it. Next was to sand.

This was in preparation for POR15. All in all I had about 2.5 hours in prep. After it was fully sanded I hit it with the POR prep spray, hosed it down and let it dry.

This was the end result. I’m quite happy and so is the Rally Laser.
Also we picked up our manual window regulators, a Fluidyne aluminum radiator, brand new non cruise throttle cable and other spares. Today has been great!
