I naively thought I was too good a driver to rear end someone, that I would be alert enough and maintain enough distance to not do this. Apparently not. Glare on the brake lights of a red car, combined with too close of a distance on a brick road meant stopping just didn’t happen. No one is hurt thankfully. The other car is virtually unharmed.
