Back if Feb, knowing that Leclerc would likely outscore Vettel this year, I had a plan. My plan was to make an assortment of “fading vettel” images, and post them after each race to reflect the scoring between them.
Like the photos in Back To The Future, he would fade, come back a little, fade some more, etc.. Eventually, he would be missing from the photo at the end of the year.
With the delay of the start of the season, I almost forgot about them. Posted one, not really funny. Then came the announcement that Vettel would be leaving at the end of the year... I posted a few more. Still not funny.
Then I found a typo in one of my tweets, deleted the wrong one and broke the thread. It didn’t turn out as clever as I hoped, so here’s the rest of them.
It was dumb, I lost interest.
