Happy FFFP Day, Ohio

As of July 1st 2020, non-commercial motor vehicles in Ohio are no longer required to display a license plate on the front. An unusually benevolent thing to happen, and cause for today to be a holiday. Happy Freedom From Front Plates Day! I celebrated by taking all mine off.

I even stopped by the storage unit to take the front plate and bracket off the RX7 just on principle. Freedom for all!*

*The 124 never got a front plate and I didn’t intend to run one either way... oddly it’s the first car I’ve owned since moving to Ohio that didn’t already have a bracket or provision for a front plate on it anyway. I intentionally waited to get plates for it since the temp tags legitimize not having a front and were good until August.
