It never fails, any time either of these events are held at a race track, both the track and the paddock are a disaster afterwards. The average number of engines that explode and leak oil & coolant all over the goddam track is about 5 per event.
That doesn’t count the engines that leak oil and coolant all over the goddam paddock, or the random parts and bits of debris that fall off all over the goddam entire facility.
What is a “Tier 1" track? Any one that holds a sanctioned event from a major racing organization.
