Terrible: I fueled up the car afterwards and saw gas dripping. The tube that connects to the gas filler (venturi tube? the bit that clicks off the pump), which has never really worked, lost a hose clamp at some point. I filled the car to the top, so that sucker just keeps dripping slowly. I think it came off long before I got here and after giving it a wiggle, I don’t think it will fall off in the 1.5 miles to the autoparts store. Unfortunately, they don’t open until 7am. Sorry to the AirBnb - I’m slowly dripping gas in your driveway. It should be a very quick fix - assuming I can easily get an angle to clamp it without getting gas dripped in my face.
