i got a finish nail gun for my birthday which has sped things up a bit. the one problem with having a nail gun vs a hammer is that with a hammer you carefully locate each nail so you do not use more than you need to reduce the amount of nail hammer and thumb smashing. With a nail gun you just go POP POP POP POP POP and suddenly you have 1000 little nail holes to fill and sand smooth.
