take a look at my hard wood

i spent most of the weekend working my wood

and this is only half of the boards. I started with 4 and cut 2 down the center. first we ran it through a planer to get the top smooth

then thought another type of planer to square/smooth the sides. the a hand planer to get an imperfections to remove all seams. This guy has an amazing shop. It has some airplane parts from when he was a mechanic, motorcycle parts for the 60's bikes he is rebuilding, cello parts, for cellos’s he is repairing/building, and tons of wood for various projects.
