House Paint

I need to do some painting in my house due to having to replace some drywall due to a leak.

So, what do you guys use that you would recommend?

My contractor recommended Sherwin Williams. I’m not against his recommendation, but reviews online (take Consumer Reports, for instance) are only average for most of SW’s line.

Top rated at CR is Behr Marque and Premium Plus, which seems t get decent reviews on Home Depot’s website as well. My contractor said that Behr was garbage.

Valspar is out. It used to be great paint, but something changed a few years back and I haven’t had good success with it.

Glidden is a hard no. I only needed to paint with that one once (or TRY to paint with it) to realize that painting with milk might have worked better.

So, anyone that has done some interior painting recently have a brand you’d use again? Anything to stay away from?

Oh, side note, I’d prime first, particularly since I have new drywall.
