Enjoying a nice Stella Artois. GF and daughter are out of town visiting her folks and it’s me and the dogs. Being an introvert, this a fine situation, despite loving the GF and daughter.
I’m thinking about the Outback I just bought and how much I like it: It’s smooth, quiet, powerful and comfortable. I’m also thinking that for approximately the same money, I could have bought an early 70's Land Rover, which is none of those thing, but: Land Rover. Not that I’d ever trade for one, but maybe I’ll pick one up when I retire to tool around town in. Then I’d be that crazy old guy down the block with the weird truck. That thought pleases me.
