Right, then...
Took the Outback through the quickie gas station car wash. It has EyeSight (Subaru’s name for adaptive cruise control and collision avoidance). When the wash was done, that dryer thing dropped from the ceiling to blow air on to the car...well, the EyeSight thought that there was a car or something in front of me, so it put on the brakes and disabled the throttle. Meanwhile the air dryer is running and I’m desperately trying to find the disable button before my time runs out....so half the car got dried. I’ll have to remember this next time...
...but at least I know the collision avoidance works, now....
