Working on my Golf today, I realized that my trunk has gotten... out of hand. Here’s what it looks like:
Not having gone all the way down to the spare tire, here’s what I have in there:
- A toolbox, fully stocked with more tools than I could ever hope to use fixing the car
- A full sized beach towel, to stop dogs and drunk people from messing up the seats
- Two hand towels, one for checking the oil, one for whatever
- A roll of paper towels, for paper towel things
- A bottle of 3-in-1 oil, for lubricating shift linkage
- A tube of JB Weld, because duh
- A traffic cone, so people don’t hit me when I work on my car in the street/in parking lots
- Two large foam tiles, to lay on when I’m under the car
- A floor jack
- Two pieces of split log, for wheel chocks
- A road flare/danger triangle kit
- Ice scraper
- Bentley manual, for repair guides
- Haynes manual, for emergency TP
- A head unit that I never installed
- A machete
- An extra pair of shoes
- A quart of 10w40 full synthetic, unopened because I somehow do not leak oil
