This time, it’s a 91 Jetta GL with an Ecodiesel from a wrecked 91 Jetta swapped in. It makes good wooshy noises. I’m told this is a rare motor.
EDIT: she is not an Ecodiesel! It’s a normal 1.6 turbo diesel. Essentially the same motor, but the turbo is different and the injector pump has a LDA with a boost reference line to increase fueling as boost increases.
