Quarantine Casual Friday

Today’s shirt is a Menards IRL Team shirt. I got it shortly after the Penske/Menard Indy win.

I am one of the few people who can say has raced against John and also Tony Stewart. Once upon a time, they were the big dogs in Ice racing with a Turbo Shelby GLH, I was a speed bump.

This is somewhat sentimental for me in that this was the livery of Scott Brayton who was killed at indy driving for John. We were out to dinner downtown and I was parking our car, and I looked in a window of a bar and on the big screen was Scott’s car. I knew it wasn’t good.
