Sure, it’s missing a window and a bumper. Sure, that tire is on backwards. Sure, it’s full of discarded cigarettes. But it runs and drives, it has current emissions, it has a clean title, and it’s only $550. The KBB for a nicer one is over $2000. Best part: it’s legal for autocross. It probably can’t run rallycross, but I’m willing to stick to pavement this time. It’ll be my Gambler 500 car, then I’ll use it as my next race car until it dies. Then I’ll sell it for $600 or so and come out on top.
I asked the guy if he’ll take $500 and I’m waiting to hear back. If he will, I’ll more than likely go through with it. If he won’t, I’ll more than likely go through with it.
