The good news is I’m going to be $125 richer. The bad news is that’s because nobody likes reliable economy cars for some reason, so the Escort is on its way to U Wrench It. I’ve had so many people make offers on it, but they were all only willing to pay less than scrap value. My best offer was $100 flat. Nobody wanted to repair it or even use it as a parts car. I just hope that it helps some other Escorts avoid the same fate. It’ll be weird to think that pieces of my car will be out there, holding together someone else’s beater.
I’m just mad that I spent as much time cleaning it as I did.
