Some guy recently stopped me in a parking lot and tried to sell a really nice projector to me for a hundred bucks. The thing was worth like $1500 on ebay, and I verified that myself. I was like... sure, let me go to the ATM and then we can plug it in to make sure it works.
Ha. Nope.
He told me we can’t open it, because then he can’t sell it as new. Okay, dude, but I’m willing to buy it. Either we open it and I buy it, or you couldn’t have sold it as new in the first place. But no, he was really insistent that I had to buy it without ever seeing inside the box. Hard pass.
